Hi guys!
I recently had an issue with a soft brake pedal. After replacing my brake booster my brakes went back to normal. However a month later my car started pulling to the right when braking. I know that the usual culprit for this is the master cylinder. My opposite corner rotors confirmed that as well. After installing another master cylinder from my buddy's parts car, i have even braking on all four corners BUT the brakes seem to still hold after releasing the pedal. But if i pull my brake pedal from underneath, the brakes release! So my question is: Is there an adjustment that needs to be done to solve this. I know there are two screws on the brake booster shaft that attaches to the pedal that might allow for adjustment . I think the best way to go about this is to replace the cylinder with a brand new one but paycheck is three weeks away and i daily this car so i wonder if i can adjust the pedal so that i don't have to pull on it after every braking.
The car is a 96 1.8 ADR
Thanks in advance!
