    Intermittent alignment? problem

Get ready for an off the wall question! Has anyone out there with a C8 RS6/7 experienced what appears to be an intermittent problem that seems to be alignment related? Intermittently, the steering wheel will be off center by about 15 degrees to the left and the car wants to pull to the right. After a day or two, the wheel will be centered and the car will track straight. My dealer thought that the suspension may have resettled after the differential replacement and recalibration of the steering rack. They did a four wheel alignment earlier this week and as soon as I picked up the car, the problem reared its ugly head, again. The rear differential was replaced under warranty a couple of months ago and they had a time recalibrating the rear steering rack. The car goes back in this week to be rechecked.

I had the exact same problem with my RS7 last year after getting rear differential replaced. The dealer did alignment twice and it helped with the off centered steering wheel and slight drift however it was not perfect. I took it to an independent dealer who has a great alignment mechanic who fixed everything and got it back to spec and since then no issues. If you havent, post this in the RS6/RS7 specific forums and see what other say. Hope you get your alignment sorted out!
