    Side mirror turn signal failed

So I got an alert on the dash that the right side turn signal failed.
It would come and go...very tempramental, and when the dash warning was on, the blinker in the right mirror was definitely blinking funny.
Luckily the part is only $85.
And there is an excellent video guide.
It is a little fiddley but doable.

The only downside is the new rev 4G5-949-102-B (Replacing 4G5-949-102-A) is not quite an exactly perfect led match. The original is more diffused and easier to see from the front. The new part is more directional and visible to the side and rear. Perhaps that is more of what is intended from a usefulness standpoint, but with the flashers on it is noticeable that they are not the same. I'll just wait for the left side to fail. LoL

I'm surprised you didn't consider the sweeping turn signals other (including myself) have installed.

I didn't see that thread. (Admittedly didn't look.)
Is that aftermarket, or a coding thing?
I just ordered online, and it was the same part # for 2015 and 2018 so I figured the lights were the same and thought it was more of a different control module or coding.

It's aftermarket and they're only like $25. Make sure it seats completely in the mirror housing when you install them, otherwise you'll fight the mirror cover for hours like I did.

Aftermarket. The exact ones I used are now down to $10 before shipping from China. The picture in this ad with the red arrow showing where to grind down if you have the top down view is actually mine that I sent this forum to help others with install. I'm famous!!!
