PCV Pic - Is it shot?

New to the 2015 CPMB Engine. Picked up a 2015 Q5 (still have my 09 stage 2 A4 in perfect condition) and am going through some maintenance items

Does this PCV look shot? Looks like there’s some sort of fluid at the bottom of the plastic case. Is that normal?

You can't tell anything about the PCV by just looking at it. They are cheap and easy to replace, so if you just picked up the car I would do it. In addition to the diaphragm it also have a combi and several check valves that can fail. Good idea to replace it every 40-50K miles for preventative maintenance. Will also help things like the weak RMS from going out (my 2014 has the old style RMS, not sure if the 2015 does or not). Either way, it's a good idea for several reasons.... 15 min DIY job with your eyes closed -- it's not even a "one beer" job
