99% of times its the connector under the seat, its extremly sensitive. Did you adjust either driver or passanger seat?

I did bounce the seat height up and dropped it using mechanical lever. Trying to get comfy for distance driving lol. Gym time.

When you scan the car what is the code? If it’s the seat, the crimps in the female end need to be pushed together by taking the connector apart and removing the crimps from the connector and forcing the two tabs towards the center to make better contact with the male pin connector.

If the code is 65535, you can buy a reset tool. This code comes on for me when it gets cold outside.

Thanks Cyber, I don’t have VCDS and have not been able to stop yet. Would this code register on any OBD reader (e.g. autozone scanner)?

Hard to say. If it’s just a generic scanner then no. You have to log into the airbag module to see what the code is.

Autozone scanner will not. Especially if you mean the one they use to check your CEL for free.

Ok. I’ll start with the connector. After pushing the tabs toward center and reconnecting should I remove the (-) lead at the the battery? Or not needed.

Nah, all I do is push(really wiggle) connector around and you need to delete code and it should be good. At minimum you need a cheap ELM327 based scanner to read and delete it.
