Is it possible to enable Video In Motion (VIM) using VAG COM?

I thought this was possible but I can only find instructions for the B8 MMI, and for OBDEleven.
My gf and I want to play music videos off of USB drives when we go on trips. I can make it play when stopped but above 2 mph it shuts off.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

Not possible using VCDS. Unfortunately VCDS doesn't read the module's parameter datasets.

Okay, thanks. I know they don't let people discuss it on their forums, I think it's to eliminate their liability.

Not just that, VCDS hasn't been coded to read the datasets from the module's memory. And so you cannot even do it using VCDS. It's exactly why you cannot enable the Subwoofer control, or Traffic Sign Recognition or Ambient Lightning or Rear fog lights etc using VCDS. All these features need dataset or parameterization changes that VCDS cannot do.
