Best Place For O2 Sensor Replacement (OEM, Bosch)

    Car Background:
2004 Audi A4 1.8T with nearly 230K Miles. Mods listed below in signature.

    Hello Everyone,

I recently scanned my B6 to see if I had any intermittent codes and the following code kept coming back the last few scans / months:

    CEL Code:
    17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S2
    P1114 - 008 - Internal Resistance too High - Intermittent

Looking at Ross-Tech Wiki I found the following:
    http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/17522/P1114

I'm going to assume my O2 sensor is starting to crap out after being on the car for 15+ years and over 200K Miles. Trying to be smart and want to go ahead and replace BOTH O2 sensors, and only looking at OEM or Bosch brands since I want to make sure I'm buying quality parts.

    Question:
Does anyone have a good source of where to get a replacement that won't break the bank?

Thanks everyone for your help, it is super appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Asif

Thanks! Did you buy these exact ones you sent the link for? Some of the reviews say they don’t work for B6 1.8T models.

I usually buy whoever makes the OE sensor, in this case the OE sensors are Bosch so thats what I stick with

the TT sensor is the same and much cheaper, the wire harness is a little shorter than the a4, I had no trouble fitting it though. there is a post in here about it, everyone was buying from advanced auto and using online coupon;)

Thanks everyone! Quick question, can I use the same O2 sensor for the 2 that are required on the 1.8T?

Or are they different O2 sensors?

Thanks everyone and happy holidays for those in the US!

When you go to order the parts, you will be guided by the search engine to make sure you get the correct parts.

On Rockauto, there are two Bosch parts, one economy and another premium/oem.

    Get the better ones.

You can use rockauto or ecs tuning as a part number search and then get it somewhere else,
But they generally cost the same anywhere..

Thanks everyone! So, one more question:

    Question:
Are both the 'lower' and 'upper' O2 sensors the same (same PN)?

    Thanks,

No they are different. Different connector and number of wires.
