Hi - I can't find anything definitive on this, but was the 2015 2.0T Engine an acute oil burner like previous model year 2.0T's? I know that most 2.0T's burn oil, but I am reading that the 2.0T's from 2015 or up seems to be better than most pre-2015 2.0T's. Is that accurate?

It’s still not if but when, the later years haven’t gotten there yet, just appears to be delayed, especially if it lived most of its life with 10K OCIs.

This thread has some interesting chatter on the topic:

But overall I think the consensus is that all B8/B8.5 will encounter oil consumption because of the piston ring design.

Updated engines still burn oil and still have timing issues. Buy with caution.
