I'm getting a creaking sound from just one side low speed in parking lots how do I know if it's a bushing or a strut Mount bearing

Read through this thread this might help: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...ension+diagram

I have the same noise and have replaced the sway bar links and which did not fix. I did the DSG service and thought it might be the brace was loose but I replaced all the bolts and retorque them but the noise is still there. Sometimes I think it could be the front brake pads as they are coming due to be replaced. Good luck.

I'm currently having this issue as well. I believe mine is the strut mount because when I turn the wheel (with weight still on it) my friend could feel the coil spring "popping". There's no movement from any of the control arms. Obviously take great care if you attempt the same diagnostics because that's a very tight space to stick your arm.

Mine was re used sub frame bolt.
Could also be control arm bushings if they are cracked
