Timing belt tension

First time doing an audi timing belt. I'm concerned about applying the correct tension. When one rotates the tensioner, is there a positive stop, or is it visual? If it's visual, can one see it clearly with the visual angle caused by the lock carrier?

Don't worry, you will be fine I'd you are in service position. Do your research..

Put it in modified service position(farther foward, using hangers or bolts). The tensioner has a little notch you line up. Find a DIY, it should be mentioned. Ya finger tighten the nut, turn it clockwise(iirc) till it lines up. If ya go too far, do another rotation.
