Center console USB port Rs3 2017

Dear forum users,

I salute everyone as of my first thread.
Im new to owning a 2017 rs3 and I have found something odd today when I wanted to use the USB port that is next to the cigarette lighter.
It doesnt work and it is also upside down. Does anyone know how to remove it so I can flip it and check how its connected?
Is it simply clicked in or do I have to remove the whole center console box that goes from front to back?

- Check fuse / Try different USB cable
- You might be able to pry the socket loose. Look at this image of possible similar part disconnected. (Double check your model and year for the part)
