    Audi a5 engine swap?

So my 2009 a5 is getting close to some high miles, although I do not need to do it right now, eventually I’m going to consider an engine swap maybe. I have the 3.2l engine with a manual trans. I have tons of custom work done to the car and i don’t want to start over. I saw in another thread about maybe an s4/5 swap, would i be able to keep my trans even if the engine is off a automatic?

Without a really skillful custom tuner you would have to go from the Auto to the DSG.
