    034 Transmission Mount

Hey everybody, long time lurker, new owner here! I just picked up a 2014 RS5 in Sepang Blue about a month ago.

I’ve been absolutely loving it, but now it’s time to face the music and become a true Audi owner - by paying exorbitantly for maintenance. The car needs a couple things, mainly motor mounts and a carbon cleaning.

I’ve decided to get some 034 motor mounts, a local shop is going to install them. I have no idea how long the mounts have been bad, so I decided because it’s not too expensive, I might as well do the trans mount as well. I was going to go stock with the trans, but then I saw 034 had a replacement for that as well.

I’m wondering if anybody has had any experience with this mount (NOT the aluminum insert!), as it specifically says it will add NVH, whereas the motor mounts and the aluminum trans insert do not have the same statements.
    Is the resulting NVH noticeable?

I appreciate any feedback that you guys have, and I’m excited to finally be an official part of the community!

I'm using the 034 Density line Transmission and Motor mounts in my RS5 and they work great, no noticeable NVH. I am not using any Aluminum inserts as many do, I figured the Density lines stiffer rubber would suffice and I'm happy with it. I'm also using a Density line stiffer (exact same) transmision mount on my S5 but still have the stock Motor mounts and I'm happy with it there too. Relatively cheap and easy to install too.
