Garage queen is great, as long as there is enough room and time in your life to pull the motor too at some point...or you have deep pockets to pay someone else to do it for you.

Amazingly engineered cars for the day...but in MD, I'd be registering as historic after the new year...aka they are becoming dated now and quite hard to source parts for...been there, done that!
    Now...'94 Land Cruiser, '18 Mini CooperS Clubman 2.0t, '13 Ford Explorer Sport 3.5t...Then...'03 RS6 6spd, '03 A6 2.7t 6spd sedan,
'83 Rabbit GTI Callaway, '91 Golf GTI 2.0 16v, '99 Golf GTI 2.0, '69 Austin America, '52 Pontiac Chieftain, and many more....

A well maintained, all little trouble zones fixed and addressed RS6 is a trouble free car, that has one of the nicest sounds around and power with seemingly no limit!
If the rs6 is already swapped to manual, you can fix a lot without pulling the engine.

But be aware of the costs to achieve that! That car cost you an arm and a leg, plus most parts, if they are available are special and only for the rs6. it is not like the s4/rs4 b5! And since they are quite rare, there are not many aftermarket solutions around.

I do love my RS but sometimes I wish life with that car would be easier
Best to keep in mind: It doesn't matter how fast you are going, someone out there is faster!
