So I got the sport cloth seats and I would like to be able to using the heating element in them even though my car isn't wired for it. Has anyone added there own wiring loom/harness to the car to use the heated seats. I found a couple examples of retrofitting it with parts from a doner car or a junkyard but I don't have the wiring harness and don't want to remove it even if I did (maybe if I absolutely had too). I was able to get pre-facelift controls (the ones above the radio) and all the plugs from the same car that had the seats from the junkyard, but that was before I realizes that I would need the harness and now that car is gone.

Right now I am thinking of making the loom myself and 3d printing a mount to hold the controls under the seat by the handle to slide the seat forward or back. Than just having just my positive and ground (might be able to use a ground closer to under the seat/middle of the car) ran to the seat, from under the steering wheel.

Any thoughts on where to begin or if you have done it yourself and know how to would be greatly appreciated!
