Strange sound from front end of my 2019 RS3

Hey everyone. Have heard a constant noise over 40km/h coming from my front driverÂ’s side wheel. Almost sounds like a bag is stuck in there, to give you an idea of the type of sound. Gets louder the faster I go. Took it to dealer and they couldnÂ’t figure it out. They removed both wheels and checked everything. Told me that theyÂ’ve heard of this issue and said it has to do with wind passing through the drilled rotors and pads. IÂ’ve never heard of this from any other RS3 owners I know. I have a standard brake setup (non ceramic), and my car is 100% stock. Any thoughtsÂ…?

I should also mention that the sound gets a bit louder when I apply brakes. It’s quite loud at high speeds and it’s constant over 40kph. Very annoying

did it just start? if so, check to make sure you dont have a small rock stuck in your brakes somewhere, check brake pad thickness, maybe a bad wheel bearing.
Stage 1 more than you RS3

Been going for a couple years now. Took it to 2 Audi dealers to diagnose. Both couldn’t come up with a reason. I would think they would’ve checked the bearings. 1 dealer, by chance, had a tech from Audi Canada in the shop. Even he couldn’t figure it out

This is exactly what Id first be checking also check for a sticky caliper not actuating properly.

Call the dealership and confirm what was checked on inspection. From my experiences the above information would be listed on your bill/warrany paperwork upon picking up the vehicle.
