Intercoolers..... Looking to upgrade my 22 RS6

Looking to instal a set of intercoolers on my RS6, I am torn between the CSF kit and the Wagner kit. The wagner kit comes with carbon shrouds and some new pipe work, The CSF is just a replacement intercooler with no shrouds or piping. The CSF kit looks easy to install going in from the wheel well, and not having to remove the bumper ( with the distance control sensors I am hesitant to remove the bumper) Which kit do you guys recomend. Thanks in advanced.

If you are going to do intercoolers, you will need to remove the bumper. I guess get comfortable with that idea if you really want intercoolers. Removing the bumper is not a task that requires recalibrations or anything, just unplugging and replugging harnesses.

I'm installing the CSF kit tomorrow based on recommendation from Unitronic. I ran some data today and will get some after to compare and will post it up here.

I ended up pulling the trigger on a set of Wagner intercoolers ( and a eventuri engine cover to match the intake as well) . Once installed I will report back

Yes, I put them in shortly after I made the post. The wagner intercoolers along with carbon shrouds are a work of art. Fitment was great. I was able to instal them in about 4 hours without removing the bumper, I do however have lifts and tools and techs . The intake is very straight forward, And also a work of art paired with the carbon engine cover... I chose the glossy carbon. Considering I did the intake intercoolers down pipes mid pipes and removed a resonator in a short time frame I dont have any data or reviews as to what did what, I will say the car is fast, fun , And sounds great!!

Are we sure the system doesn’t need to be calibrated after a bumper removal? Recently when my car was in for service it got a small dent in the front fender. The dealership took care of getting it fixed, but as part of getting the fender repaired the front bumper had to come off. When the car was done at the body shop the dealer kept it for a day to do a vehicle systems calibration.

I didn't need to do any calibrations, but I don't have the drivers assistance package.

Was told that too so first headlight swap done at shop with calibration. Later I swapped them myself and everything works fine.
