In near future I want to buy boost, oil pressure and air to fuel ratio gauges.I heard that mechanical gauges are faster and more accurate but I want gauges to look good in my interior..Any reccomendations?

I would never buy a mechanical oil gauge, for the fact if the fittings arent tight or wear, you will run into leaks. Boost is ran from a plastic vacuum line and fuel ratio is electrical.

I haven't had any issues with my AEM for afr. I use the ECS tuning boost gauge kit and that works great too, the boost gauge is going on a year, and the AFR about 4-5 months.

Is it in any way possible to tap into the oil pressure sensor on the engine? Because if I remember correctly you have a 98 1.8T, which should have an oil pressure sender?

The VDO gauges match the best in my opinion. You will need an oil pressure sender to mount on top of the oil cooler
