It might be still covered. There was an extended warranty to 10 years / 120,000 miles applied at some point but I am not sure what model years get impacted by this. Audi is sticklers about being able to prove maintenance history. I was researching buying a used S7 and asked a service department about the PCV extended warranty and that is where I learned about documented maintenance history from a used car purchase.

That is the dealership making that decision - warranty work is easy money for them and they don't need mothership approval (specifically for the PCV). That's just a dealership I would never want to go to; greedy. I bought my car used, 6yrs old, and my dealer covered the PCV warranty work.

Ultimately valpo is right in this instance too - depends on your VIN, because even if your model is listed, it's VIN & MIL code dependent. Here is the warranty info: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...74394-0001.pdf

Verify with your dealer. They will also want to scan the car themselves and will not OK the warranty work without the MIL on at the time they see the car

it SHOULD be covered still. I have a used 16 S7 and the dealership went through some of the TSB stuff and checked to see of my o2 sensers were already replaced under that and they were. Regardless you need to have it looked at so give them a call and they'll let you know over the phone before you even bring it by.
