    Help needed identifying coolant leak

I've had a slight coolant leak for awhile, but now has turned into a large leak. I hooked up my pressure tester today and source of the leak is right above the alternator.

Would that be #25 in this diagram?

Yes, or part 66 (elbow). Can't you find the beginning with a little mirror?

There is really zero room, unless I start tearing down the front end. I rather have the part before I start doing that. It almost appears to be an S bend hose, but I don't see anything that matches that area on the diagram. #66 appears to be clamps.

If you haven't been in there before to change those little rubber hoses I would change both hoses for the alternator and oil cooler. Maybe even consider changing the oil cooler O-rings too.

They have never been changed. Honestly I am building a second engine, so all new hoses are going towards that. I just want to fix whats needed on this engine to get me to winter, if that makes sense.

It could be anything in the #1 area. You could pull your airbox with ease and be able to see pretty much all the hoses up there. #5's like to break often.

The leak was coming from hose #25, but it was not the hose itself. The clamp somehow slipped off. I don't know how it was possible, but it did.

Hopefully just putting a clamp on it works for you!
