I used a 12v tester and found some blanks in the fuse box under the dead pedal. You can find 12v switched and constant in there.

I think I modified the fuse holder so the wire comes out of the top instead of the side. Just melted/softened the plastic and used some epoxy to patch it back up.

Yeah the side rails next to the fuses are too tall. It's a pain. I couldn't find any other style of fuse holder to make it work but my modified ones are holding up fine.

I ran my 2 channel all the way back (since there had to be a wire for the rear camera anyway) and tapped into the rear fuse box, where I also added the blackvue backup battery

So this is weird was wondering if anyone can chime in

Im running a blackvue dr900x with a power magic pro

I have a regular sized add a fuse ( for always on ) and a mini add a fuse ( for switched , also my radar power tapped in ) and 2 ground wires ( 1 for pmp 1 for radar )

Initially when i put everything together , the pmp turned on, the camera turned on. I tried to turn the pmp off , but it wouldnt turn off. So i think i accidentally put both add a fuses into a constant slot

I unplugged the fuses and checked the slots and plugged them back into a switched and constant, and it finally worked ( camera on, pmp on, switch for the pmp worked ). However i realized i forgot to ground the radar, so i started to undo the ground so i can stack the radar ground on top of the pmp ground

Now, nothing works. Same slots dont work. Tried diff slots and it doesnt work. Pmp doesnt power on. Camera doesnt power on. And my radar isnt on

What’s strange is i have an old PMP and when i swapped to it, it sometimes turns on, but the camera doesn’t turn on, and i cant switch the pmp off

    Cant figure this out.

Have a add a fuse tapped into a always on
Have a add a fuse tapped into a switched
Ground for both pmp and radar secured

    Nothing turns on

Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated

I've just connected it to the mirror... 30 min on everything, no need to tear down A-pillars.
