    RNS-E and MP3s on SD

I am trying to get music onto an SD card to play MP3s on the 2007 RNS-E.

    I have a non SDHC 2gb card.

    this one...https://www.amazon.com/INDMEM-Memory...s%2C186&sr=8-9

I have used itunes to convert to MP3 but nothing shows up. I know the RNS-E is reading the card because it shows the proper amount of free space but it cannot see the files. I know there are special characters that it will not read but I thought I have all those eliminated.

Here is the wierd part. I deleted the one album I am experimenting with and put 2 tracks from a different album...the original album plays now like its in some sort of hidden folder.

So I know the card works and I know the files are correct but I cannot get them to show up.

Using a mac and HitPaw Converter to convert iTunes to MP3.

    Thanks

Did you put them at the root of the sd card? Or using folders?, i know it has problems with long names also and songs with hidden info like album cover.

How is the SD card formatted? Fat32?

I finally got it to work. Not sure what I did different. I was always using FAT or FAT32. One thing to note, Apple music stores in .HLS format and it will not convert it for you on its own. You need a third party app to convert for you to .mp3.
