so I took my car to my local Audi shop about a year ago.

My EPC light popped up and the shop said take it to Audi because its your coolant pump recall.

I take my shop to Audi queens they say they fixed all the recalls.

My EPC light is still and my heat isn't working. I take the car back to Audi queens and told that the issue isn't the recall.

I go back to my shop and the same coolant pump issue pops up.

Audi queens tells me again that the coolant pump is not under recall.

I have googled and the coolant pump says recall. Called Audi and told me go to another shop.

I take my car into Audi Brooklyn and they're saying the same thing, Coolant replacement pump isn't under recall.

    Crossing unrelated concepts.

V51 afterrun coolant pump - this thing circulates coolant through the turbo after you turn the car off. They changed the pump for B8.5, and that original pump design had a fire risk aspect (clog, over current condition, set connector on fire). Coolant pump 2, short to ground, could be the wiring harness and not the pump itself. And has the safety recall action already been performed on this vehicle? Also, could have nothing to do with the pump or the power/ground lines, but the gray/blue wire that runs from the pump to the ECM.

main engine coolant pump - this is the main coolant pump that moves coolant when the engine is running. This is a purely passive device, engine spins, pump spins. Thermostat is also passive, hot, open (coolant goes to radiator), cold, close (coolant goes back to engine). There is a warranty extension due to a class action lawsuit, but not a "safety recall", for the main coolant pump, but that's if it's leaking.

N422 coolant shut-off valve - climate control closes this until the coolant is up to temp, then opens it and allows the hot coolant to pass to the heat exchanger.

The DTC you show is clearly for the V51 electrically powered afterrun coolant pump. There's no reason for that DTC to create an EPC light. And no heat is also not related to an EPC light. Not directly at least. And any V51 issue will not cause a no-inside-heat issue.
