    Hi
Last week idle was a little bit rough, CEL came on

001287 - Idle Control System RPM
    P0507 - 001 - Higher than Expected. - Intermittent
I replaced PCV and the two corrugated breather tubes that were quite brittle.
    Deleted code
Short test drive with no issues.
Next day after engine at temperature CEL is back on, very rough idle, much worse than before.
    3 Faults Found:
001287 - Idle Control System RPM
    P0507 - 001 - Higher than Expected. – Intermittent
004759 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
    P1297 - 001 -
008825 - Leak in Air Intake System
    P2279 - 002 - - MIL ON

If I remove the breather tube from the manifold port and put my thumb on it engine runs fine.

    Any advice is highly appreciated.

What year is your B7? I had a very similar issue with the same codes on my 2008 not too long ago. For me, it turned out the check valve in the tube connecting the valve cover to the compressor housing (I believe) was busted. I am not positive, but I thought I read that earlier models do not have this check valve, while late models do. Might be worth checking out.

    Thank you mbruveris12
It's a 2006. I don't know if it has the check valve, but I'll find out.
    Appreciate it.

It has it, but its in the PCV instead of the rear breather. Early model(R revision) PCV has this extra check valve in the PCV unit.

    Thanks Jayz691
it's a late 2006 and the part# on the PCV unit ends with "P" . Does that make a difference? I did not have a chance yet to look under hood.

Neither have an " extra" check valve. Early models it is in the PCV not the breather tube, later models they moved it to the breather tube and took it out of the PCV.

    Hey Y’all
turns out mine has a check valve in the breather pipe and yes the membrane was ripped. Replaced it an she is running again. 50 miles on no fault code so far. Idle still seems a little rough but much much better than before.
Thank you everybody for your help and especially mbruveris12 for pointing me in the right direction.

Yes, I just call it an "extra" cuz they moved it. So in the R revision pcv, the valve itself has an extra check valve.. Scemantics?? Wow, lol.
