    Dual rear foglights?

My understanding was that the B9 platform only offered a single rear fog light. However, last night I saw a B9 A4 (not sure of the year but it wasn't a B9.5) with dual rear fog lights. It didn't have Euro taillights as it had the sweeping blinker along with the "solid" portion to meet American lighting standards.

Please excuse the poor quality of the photo as it was extremely foggy and I was driving but you can clearly see the dual foglights.

My '18 B9 has exactly zero rear fogs in the USA.

Yes, I believe only the 2017 A4 came with rear fog lights but I thought it was only a single fog light. From 2018 onwards rear foglights were not available in North America. My 2013 S4 had dual rear foglights though.

Honestly the most shocking thing about this post is someone using rear fogs as intended.

lol, yeah, when I had my S4 I used the rear fog lights when it was foggy or during snowstorms.

Fogs have always been both sides on B8 and B9, when present, in the US. Other countries may dictate only a single fog, but the US doesn't bother to dictate even a single fog.

Interesting, thanks. So that must have been a 2017 A4 since that was (I think) the only B9 car with rear fog lights. It also explains why the EU taillights only have one rear fog light.

I know better than to doubt you, as you're a veritable fountain of knowledge across the entire Audi model range. That said however, I was certain that the rear fog switch on my 2011 S4 illuminated the driver's side lamp only. I just want out and tested it and you're right again! Both driver's and passenger's side fog lights were lit. I might have been thinking about my Mk IV R32 which I believe only had the driver's side fog (but I could be wrong ... again!)
