hey guys I have a stain on my interior door panel and since I have a technik/prestige package there is ambient lighting included as well as the door pockets. upon checking the part number black/with red stitching since Im s-line package, audi claims they are all the same part number. 8W0867104ABWFA. on the diagram I don't see any listing for a door pocket light. is this a generic panel that you need to cut out the section to insert the light? or there is an actual different door panel cover part for a technick package car?

The red stitching is on the armrest, not the interior door panel. The color code WFA for the interior door panel is simply black.

And it looks like the door pocket light slots into the armrest, not the door panel.

ive taken a picture and the light does slot into the door panel but it seems there is a generic door panel across the board. they can't seem to find the part number for a prestige package that has this door pocket light slot.

There is no interior door panel variation for different QQ codes. So if it is in fact in the door panel proper, you'll be making a hole I presume. The catalog does mark it "rework as necessary".
