    Concerns on this allroad

So I got this new to me 2002 allroad 2.7t 6mt with 199k miles.
I'm still fairly new to the audi world so I'm looking for some information. the car came with a boost gauge and afr gauge, at idle the afr gauge shows one bank(assuming) at 14.7 +/- and the other bank at 15 but goes up and down pretty drastically sometimes even seeing 20.00. Under load/in boost it stays around 14 sometimes 13. TBH these numbers are all over the place.

Previous owner said there's a boost leak somewhere but I haven't checked yet, it'll boost and it has power but lurks and jerks here and there. I'm planning on taking it to a shop soon to see what this thing has going on for modifications etc but I just wanted some input from the community first.

    Concerns on this allroad

You clearly have fuel/air mixture issues. Without a bunch more info, it will be hard for us to offer any feedback beyond that. Generally the AFR gauge is wired into a single side but it looks like you may have a dual setup. 14.7 for afr is right on (for 93 octane, varies for various ethanol blends and diesel). Generally under boost most instances the tuning will be done a little rich so less than 14.7.

An AFR of 20 is catastrophically lean. It means are aren’t getting enough fuel. If it’s isolated to a specific bank that might mean an injector issue on that side.

You will need to be able to log and look at data to have an understanding of what’s going on. If you can’t, I’d suggest you take it to a competent shop for troubleshooting.

What are the circumstances when it hits 20? It's normal for the O2 readings to swing lean when your foot is off the accelerator pedal, as the ECU cuts fuel to the engine.
