Velvet/cognac RS6– 2 years to get but worth it

I am a long time lurker, kind gave up getting this car a year and a half or so back. My allocation got ‘reallocated’ and I was pretty irritated about the whole process. Fast forward to the beginning of this year, my dealers next allocation came around and they filled it with my build. Audi took there sweet ass time to build it and it turned into a 23 model. So here it is. Velvet purple pearl, cognac interior, advanced B&O, silver optics, 21” wheels, sport exhaust. Getting it corrected and coated in the morning.

Beautiful! How close is that to Merlin Purple? Hard to tell from pictures... I have a Merlin Purple RS6 coming to me from New York.

I would love to have them next to each other, but merlin has more red in it as far as i can tell. Velvet seems darker unless in direct sunlight.

The only thing I would have done differently on mine would have been that interior. I love the cognac.

Velvet is beautiful and goes great with cognac. Congrats on your new car! Also Montoya congrats on your incoming Merlin. How much did Audi Hawthorne end up asking over MSRP? I had been watching that car for a while when they were initially asking $50k, then $30k over.
