4m Q7 mmi control knob acting weird

Has anyone ever experienced their MMI control knob not working in one direction? While in the menu’s or anything else with the left option, it’s not working, I’m having to use the left side button on the pad. Up, down, and right work just fine. I did try a hard reset multiple times, no luck with the fix.

I have an A6 and the volume knob was having issues. I cleaned it with electrical cleaner and issue was resolved.
