I bought these Spyder® - Black LED DRL Bar Projector Headlights from CarID in March of this year. They didn't arrive until June.

I installed them and then had the car including headlights ceramic coated two days later.

They do not include bulbs or ballasts or the cable that connects ballast to the HID bulb. There are a lot of wires that are external to route the power a bit differently for the LED bar.

No broken tabs, all parts work, I just decided I wanted the factory look, so I got some Depo ones this week.

To be honest, I don’t remember and there were no instructions that came with them and I did the install over a year ago and removed them about 9 months ago.
That said, all the connectors are unique sizes and shapes, so there is no chance of plugging anything in to the wrong spot and everything has a connector. There are no bare wires or splices that you have to do.

Yes I do and yes they are. Minor wiring to update but it’s all plug and play. No cutting or splicing or anything.

you have my curiosity, i would love to upgrade to b8.5 headlights on my b8, but not really up for the whole front end swap... $100USD+ a little bit for shipping further... dont really want to pay import fees, but haven't had much shipped across the boarder lately, so not sure. USPS is probably least likely to add on fees, i've had fed ex tack on import fees, and UPS at times.

I did swap the projectors and I did have the error. When I swapped back, I still had the error. I think I buggered up the connector and just need to tighten a pin, but I haven't had time to trouble shoot it and since I don't drive in the dark often, its not a high priority. Hopefully this summer I can get to it.

cheers, all good. curious question, did they actually look ok on the car? i know not factory, but still. i dislike the rounded stock running light led strip of bulbs, much prefer the style of the b8.5 running lights in particular
