I was wondering how apparent is it supposed to be when you are in cylinder deac mode on the 4.0t’s and how does it feel for you guys when it’s in that mode?

stock exhaust, exhaust note changes. Pretty obvious if the cabin is quiet. Sometimes also get a bit of a vibration change.

Ehh I flashed ds1 without it and then coded it away in efficiency mode too so I never have to deal with it.

Yeah I feel the vibrations in the cabin and it’s a bit annoying. I wonder if the APR tune codes it out.

You may have a motor mount on its way out. If you have VCDS you could see if a fault is found on either of the mounts.

Check for fault codes and found none, that was my first thought as well.

Shouldn’t be noticeable unless your watching for the green light on your fuel efficiency screen… if you unplug exhaust valves you can hear it slightly that there is low hum and ANC can’t keep up. I’m not sure why it bothers anyone… works perfectly fine to me!
