    Roof wouldn't close!

    Grr
Just had to close it manually which despite the manual telling you to turn the key clockwise, it was actually anti clockwise in the slots, it worked OK

Now the question is what stopped it from closing with the button!

When I pressed to close, the windows went halfway down, then the roof compartment popped open

But that's where it stopped, nothing else after that

The light on the dash didn't flash either

Any experience on what the cause could be?

Yes, I took mine partially apart to fix a rattle. Mine got stuck tilted open when the motor died and I had to uninstall the glass, adjust everything into place, and then reinstall the glass twice, because the first time it made wind noise from not being lined up perfectly. Now its quiet as it was and I've just left it as a moon roof instead. The only motor I found was genuine and too much money for wind on my head.

I believe he's talking about a convertible top not closing.

    Haha yep I am

From a Google search looks like first thing to check is the fluid level
I can see where the motor is, but where are the various sensors please?

Have you tried manually opening it completely and then manually closing it completely? From all my research that is what is required to get the convertible roof eco system back in sync.

Yeah I've seen videos on that
Seems too good to be true..!

I tried again earlier, my issue was it not closing, but I managed to do it manually
I then tried earlier, but whilst the front of the roof unlatches, that's where it stops
It doesn't go any further than that
Is that symptomatic of it being the actual roof motor?
Is there any chance it just needs more hydraulic fluid?if so, what is the fluid type needed?
    Thanks
