Tire Rotation

Some may mock for this question but whatever. I want to rotate the tires on my 2018 Rs5. Any issue with rotation of tires, specifically front to back that I should be aware of? Is there a sensor that will trip like on GM cars/trucks when this is performed? TIA.

Would suggest a reset of the TPMS after any tire rotation. Don't know of any other reason not to rotate; just make sure correct directional rotation is maintained if that shows for your tires.

RS5 should have direct TPMS. No reason to reset it as the car reads actual pressures from the wheels. But I don't know if the system stores the set pressure by wheel location or by sensor id. If by ID and you run different pressures front/rear, yeah, you'd need to do a reset. The system may also want you to do a reset after a rotation to flag to the system "yes, wheel locations have changed". What's the owner's manual say to do?

If I'm not mistaken, the 2018 RS5 does not/NOT come with TPMS ... however, TPMS is found in the 2019 model year.
