    Caliper to wheel

My Audi dealer didn't budge and installed my winter set with this little clearance between the wheel and the caliper.

Clearance is approximately 0.0108in ~ 0.27mm at the shortest point. To put in context, a credit card does not go through.

Question: should I install spacers, leave it or sell the car? I don't wish to install spacers if physics say I don't have to. SQ5

Thank you for the expert knowledge.

If they are not rubbing on turns, you are fine.

You should obviously just sell the car.

    Caliper to wheel

If not rubbing you might be ok but what is more important is if the center of the wheel is in correct position, if you narrow the wheelbase width you may notice SQ5 handling might change.
Look at ET # on OEM rim and compare to winter set up, if winter rim is a higher # than OEM wheel ET# you should consider spacers.
My winter set up with spacers is lower ET than OEM rims and handles nicely

Winter setup is 30 and OEM 34. I didn't notice any change on the handling.
