I personally think aluminum/chrome isn't a bad look on darker vehicles. Black on black is a bit overkill IMO.

i agree
i normally hate chrome trim
EXCEPT on black cars
i hate the "this car was dropped in a big bucket of black paint" look
where everything is just black, as much as i love black, it does not show any curves or features, its like a visual abyss

you gotta have some contrast
chrome trim, red accents, bronze wheels, etc

I kinda like it, gunna keep it for now. I like how it really makes the mirrors pop and more focus on the alu optic lower trim

I blacked out my whole car and honestly its too black. I like the black trim around tinted windows on a black car. But my mirrors are carbon and my wheels are black. I need to put some contrast back on it.

Agreed, so I didn’t get black wheels, but didn’t go with aluminum color wheels either. Here are my titanium colored BBS. IMG_2040.jpg

BBS do look good. I'm silver and have been waffling on doing the chrome trim around the windows (read lazy). I may do it during the holidays to give me a small project to swear a lot at something

looks great. We're twins with the exception of my black wheels. I have TSW Paddocks and its a bit of an oily looking black sheen. They look good, but I may powder coat one day to change the color.
