Hey all. Trying to understand the exhaust on my car. Front to back, cat - resonator - muffler - into duals - resonator on each tail at bumper. Yes? My next question, if you have removed any or all of the resonators and only have cat and single muffler, do you have drone?

OR, what exhaust have you put on and how does it sound?

Im looking for a good sound, but dont want a drone.

    Thanks in advance.

Correct regarding the stock exhaust setup. I went with the Magnaflow Allroad exhaust and added stuff as time went on.

    - First was the Magnaflow setup: goes cat>mid-pipe resonator>split to duals>muffler at each tail pipe. No drone.
    - Then went cat-less when I did my K04, no drone.
    - Then went with the Milltek mid-pipe which deletes the resonator. HELLA DRONE.

That middle resonator does a ton for controlling the drone, so if you’re looking for a drone-less experience then focus on everything past the mid-pipe resonator.

Great info. I was about to go have the mid resonator removed. Not now. Thanks for saving me!

So now my question is... If I remove the resonators at the rear bumper, will it drone? Seems like your description says no.
