    Hi
    I am trying to buy 2016 A6 With 2.0T
or 3.0 . Does anyone know if A6s in 20016 have DSG or 8ZF transmission?
Any recommendations towards getting the 3.0 vs the 2.0 .?
I know audi bumped the power on the 2016 audi A6, 255hp for 4 cylinder and 333hp for the 3.0

    Thanks

ZF 8-speed. The S6 has DSG. The 3.0Ts can be pretty efficient and have a ton of room for extra power with tunes, pulleys, heat exchangers, and other upgrades.

Btw, the ZF transmission is absolutely fantastic for a slushbox.

You want a 3.0t over the 4 banger.

My dealer says never. My indy says it depends. ZF suggests every 80k

Ok...yeah 80k miles sounds fine to me , probably even 60k miles, both are better than every 40K for the DSG.

It was a little confusing about the A6 2016 about the transmission updates, I saw a review in YouTube for the 2016 A6 and the guy talking said that the 2016 model now have the DSG transmission on them...I don't know maybe any 2016 plus have a better answer....

In Europe the A6 came with the DSG. Looks like you’re in Utah so any of the 3.0t A6’s in your neighborhood will be ZF’s 8HP :)
