2018 MMI restart

New to us 2018 Q7 Premium Plus 3.0T. MMI is randomly restarting. Anyone have this issue. Is there software update to address this?

There is a firmware update to address this. I did it to my 2018 with the same issue, there was someone on one of the Facebook groups that helped me walk through the pretty in depth and complicated(to me) process. Far from intuitive, and if you have BOSE you can brick your stereo if you aren't careful.

After the update-hasn't restarted once. If you still have warranty the dealer should be able to address.

Thank you. Out of warranty. Bought at an Audi dealer so inquired if they would assist with update. Haven’t heard back. Did you do it on your own? We also have Bose system
