C7.5 vs C7 DL501/DSG differences?

Hello!

I did a search and while I can find a crapton of threads pertaining to the C7 (2013-2015) DSG issues, I can't find anything about the C7.5. I was wondering if anyone knows if the mechatronic was upgraded in the mid cycle refresh or is it the same DL501 as the C7? Reason I ask is a C7.5 S6/S7 is on my 'to buy list' and while I pretty much figured out the turbo issues, the transmission is the only left uncertainty to me.

I've had 3 DSG equipped vehicles in the past, so I'm used to their 'nuances'. I'm planning on on going Stage 1 and at the most Stage 2.

Oh and lastly: I've read about the front end being rebuilt after X amount of mies. It seems to echo to happens in a Panamera V8 in that by 75k miles the front end needs to be rebuilt. Is it a known certainty like the Porsche or just keep an eye out type thing?
