are the LCD screens the same for all b8/8.5 a4 a5 q5 the same from 2009-2017? I need to replace the screen in my 14 3.0t prestige, curious what cars I can find it from.

    thanks

No, the different B8 infotainment systems use different screen units:
Concert/Symphony / not navigation / dash unit says audi concert or audi symphony
MMI 2G / navigation >MY09 / dash unit says audi cd changer
MMI 3G / navigation MY10> / dash unit says audi multimedia

    A '14 Q5 prestige would have MMI 3G+. So you need the MMI 3G screen, 8R0 919 604 A, from any B8.5 A4, A5, or Q5 that had MMI 3G+ (MY13-MY16 for A4, MY13-MY17 for A5/Q5).

B8.0 MMI 3G (MY10-MY12) used screen 8R0 919 604, which is now replaced by 8R0 919 604 A for R&R purposes. But I don't know that I'd say your originally B8.5 "604A" vehicle should consider a retrograde to B8.0 "604". Unless it's cheap and you want to give it a shot to see.

I'd probably just search eBay for 8R0919604A and see what you find. Likewise, https://wolfautoparts.com/7-mmi-navi...a-ps25426.html

You need: 8R0919604A. It is a 7" screen with high resolution

There is also a 6.5" with a lower resolution 8T0919604A which is replaced with the version 8T0919604B

getting a screen from elRayRay here, he has a 2013 q5 with 3G high +, B&O and nav, same as my system in my 2014. MMI 3G+ is same as 3G high + that some people call it?

B8.0 had (starting MY10) 3G basic (mmi navigation) and 3G high (mmi navigation plus). US only gets mmi navigation plus, though.
For B8.5, MMI 3G high was enhanced with connected services and called MMI 3G plus (3G+). MMI 3G basic remained the same.
So there's no "3G high plus" per se. The plus implies high.

I'm sorry, but it's not true
The 3G Basic navigation is a DVD navigation model - it was never available on the US market
Only HDD navigation was available on the US market
    And two models:
3G high - (Hnav) firmware Hnav US K133
    3GP or G plus (Hnav+) firmware HN+AU3G K0942

Yes. Thus, "US only gets mmi navigation plus, though."

The only difference between Hnav and Hnva+ navigations is the internet access option that the Hnav+ model has
Both navigation options were available on North America market

MMI navigation and MMI navigation plus are marketing terms, not system terms. Same for MMI radio and MMI radio plus. Don't confuse them with MMI 3G basic, MMI 3G high, and MMI 3G plus.

For your information, there was also a MMI 2G system
    MMI 2G (CD-ROM)
    Used until 2011 in various Audi A and Q-series and R-series models. Cars that had MMI 2G were Audi A4 (2009-10), Audi A5 (2008-09), Audi A6 (2005-09), Audi A8 (2002-11), Audi Q7 (2007-09) and RS6 (2008- 2011).

The next generation are MIB, MIB2, MIB3

Actually, MMI 2G came in Low (CD-ROM) and High (DVD-ROM). As I myself have MMI 2G High. Same as the MMI 3G era, MMI 2G era marketing terms were MMI navigation (low) and MMI navigation plus (high). Your years are a bit off too, but maybe that's just RoW vs NAR. This is a NAR market thread.

MIB was not used in the B products, MIB2 was used in B9.0, MIB2.5 was not used in the B products, and MIB3 is in B9.5.
