Resonator Delete - How loud does it get?

Yes they just cut them out & welded in a piece of stainless pipe. Red star only deletes the front 2 resonators & does nothing for the 3rd one. You won’t get as much sound increase by going just red star & it will cost you substantially more. It’s also supposedly a gigantic pain to put them on.

Cutting the old ones out is reversible as you can just keep them and have them welded back in. With the valves closed the rs6 is still by a massive amount the quietest car I own. You won’t want to reverse

The stock exhaust has 2 mufflers (1 for each exhaust pipe) at the front section after the DP, and 1 muffler at the center. Those are the ones removed by the resonator delete. Is the 3rd muffler at the very end of the exhaust? I wonder what it looks like after it was removed. Also thanks for the reminder that they can be welded back on.

You can just have them welded back in.... so it's reversible
