Huh... on the other forum I hearing supply chain issues with the CCBs. Poster tried to order an RS5 w/Competition Package and was told it would come w/o CCBs.

Indeed.
Not getting CCBs with the Comp package would be a major let down.

Yep, I think I’d be a bit irked if my car was ordered with ceramics and came without. Only thing missing on my car was the Toll Module which I wouldn’t use anyway. While the ceramic option is deleted from the Audi USA site for the RS5, they’re still an option on the RS6/7 so it’s probably just a temporary thing until stock is back up. My Sales Manager tried to talk me out of ceramics when I made the order. I’m very happy with them.

I just looked and the Audi USA site still shows the CCBs as part of the Comp package on the RS5 and its still $16k.

Yeah I saw that too but figured the Comp Package has so many variables to it they left it unmodified. Whereas the Dynamic Plus Option had only a few items so they just removed the entire package (for now).

Very nice, car looks great. I like the sign on the steering wheel. When I ordered my car I told the salesman the same thing. Even though they’re required in California he said they never put the mount on unless requested. I had to sign a waiver stating I took the car without the front plate mount installed. I have the mount, it’s just put away. I’ll gladly accept the fix-it ticket should I get stopped. In all my years driving here without a plate I’ve never been stopped or even looked at. I’ve got tinted window tickets but never the front plate thing.

It will look even better once they remove the blocks from the suspension. When I went to see mine I was surprised just how high the car sits with them in.

I have discovered that unless your name is tied to sold order prior to the price increase, any existing orders placed by the dealerships are subject to the $2k MSRP increase once the order is placed in your name.

Shamelessly bumping an earlier response - I did end up getting my RS5 @ MSRP but w/o the increase.

I'm officially a 2023 RS5 owner, as I took delivery from Audi of Beaverton this afternoon, and then drove 200+ miles back to my house just north of Seattle.

Pics taken just prior to drive-off from the dealership showroom:












Don't have much time to enjoy my new ride before I drop the RS5 off at the detail shop, where it will get PPF'd and the paint, brakes, and wheels ceramic-coated this week.
