My car started about two months ago making a chirping noise from the center of the engine. Replace the pcv and noise didn’t stop. Noise eventually went away but misfire started. Misfire on 2 and 4 doesn’t move with coil and plugs are new. Then I take manifold code. I now have 19 different engine codes and the car misfires through 1,2, and 3 gears. The brake light is on and brake pads have about 60% life left. I was told it needs a $10000 wiring harness. It did sit for two years so maybe a rodent got in it? Should I park the car and buy an S4 engine and trans for it? Any other ideas on what could be wrong?
