Hello everyone,
I have a 2001 A4 quattro Tip with the AWM (93k) and there’s a few things I’ve noticed about it:
When the engine is below proper operating temps (cold start/warming up) there is a ticking/knocking noise that eventually goes away once the engine is warm and oil pressure is built. When the engine is warm there is just a slight ticking noise.
Also, fuel economy has been quite poor, getting around 15-16mpg or about 200-240miles/tank.
It has also felt quite sluggish and has a slow oil leak from I believe the VC gasket.
Currently running Castrol edge 0w30 synth
Any ideas on what is wrong?
