That's correct - apparently the install issue isn't obvious. We did have a customer who was having issues figure out a resolution, so we should be adding that to our directions to ensure it doesn't happen to others. I found out about this after I left work yesterday. I think he said he was going to post here, but I'll share the findings (Happy to give credit to him if he wants!):

This fixed my issue. My cover is pretty much ruined but at least we solved it.

Updates on my APR intake after a few months.

Still no rubbing on hood here and those little rubber washers are still in place :D

Is there any way we can purchase spare bolts and washers for the intake (for the box, not the inlets)? My shop lost a bolt when installing intercoolers....

Great news! We've updated our intake system and it now fits all model years up to 2025!

We've changed the casings and added an adapter so the system now fits on both setups, regardless of which turbocharger versions you have.




There is no charge for the adapter. All get it, and the system the system is also on a labor day promotion now too so it's a great time to pick up a ton more HP with a simple bolt on intake system!

I'm interested in this as well. Don't think it'll be an issue for our two cars with APR intakes, but eventually I'll need to pass the CARB inspection in order to renew registration. So dumb that an intake is a part(s) that will cause a CARB inspection failure. While I have a cat back Akrapović exhaust that doesn't. Neither should IMO, but still...

All products are self certified, which use to be called Memo 1a or something like that. I can't give any time tables or promises on CARB coverage.
