Replacing my Reverse Light Bulb

Have a 2018 Q5, and the reverse light is out. Looked at Y-Tube to see how to replace - pop the cover off and sue a phillips screwdriver to remove screw. The problem is that I don't see the screw at all.
What am I missing here? There is no screw. Do I have to pull the whole bumper to get to a light bulb?

yea way up there at an angle. can be a pain to get to. while you are there you should upgrade to LED. I have had these for over two years with no issues. https://amzn.to/3JYQLff

I’ve posted this before. It’s a simple job, but can be finicky if you haven’t done it before. Also, the B8’s uses a Philips, but the B9 is a torx.

I don't understand this question, what LED are you trying to match with your reverse lights that you would use at the same time?

In terms of "matching" color temperatures, 5000K-6000K is pretty standard. 3000K is yellow, 4300K is "day light/warm white", 5000/6000K is "bright white", anything above 6000K gets into the blues and you start to loose usable visible light.

For those looking for replacement LEDs for the reverse lights, I've used this brand with great results in a few vehicles, reviews speak well and are error free in my experience. Currently have a coupon available for them for $12 to boot : AUXITO T15 6000K LED bulb pair

Don’t buy any. Go in your tool kit in the trunk and there is a double sided one in there that fits.

OK, got the 12" T-25, and after 30 minutes of trying to get the T-25 into the screw, I managed to take the light fixture out. What a dumb design.
Put a new light bulb in, and still no reverse light. Checked the light bulbs for continuity, and they all seem to be fine. I removed the electrical connector a whole bunch of times and wiggled it around. Still no reverse light.
Now I'm thinking that this is a wiring problem. Any advice?

Had the same on my 18 Q5. Dealer determined that the light fixture was bad. Replaced it and was fixed.

Thanks to scsu, replacing the fixture solved the problem. Purchased a new one (Amazon, $200, 3 days), and struggled with the PITA T-25 screw. Not sure I understand the wiring. 6 pins, 5 bulbs, no common ground or return. Not sure why the old fixture didn't work, everything I looked at said it was OK. But the new fixture works, so I guess I'm good.

Mind posting link*s) for the replacement bulbs and fixture? I got an error recently saying my rear bulb was out. Light worked and error cleared, but I expect it will come back.

Miranda, there’s a small notch when you take the cover off on the bumper. It’s directly online with that and up at about a 45dgree angle. The screw has a red surround iirc. Look up there with a flash light and you should see it

I’ll look for like the 3rd time. I see a hole but I can’t see a screw. Will check when it’s dark out. Thank ya.

What worked for me and my 18 SQ5, was there was evidently a large enough opening under the bumper that allowed me to actually see the orange plastic "catch cone" while I was sticking the T25 up and in there.
Had to persuade it to initially get in there.
Quite the silly design, but it actually came out and I got it back in the same way, by looking through the back bumper opening.

I looked again, this time with a good flashlight and still nothing. I’m convinced it doesn’t exist or they changed it for B9.5. Or I can’t see. No bit of orange anything to even let me know where to look.

There is a hole, and I stuck a long tool up into it and I see it does wiggle the lights but I would be blindly feeling for any screw…
