    Product Page

We're excited to announce our Engine Control Unit (ECU) Upgrades are now available for the Audi A6, A6 allroad, and A7 (C8) 3.0 TFSI engine with the Bosch MG1 ECU! Expect massive gains with up to 384-435 HP and 499-557 FT-LBS of torque on tap, depending on octane, from this simple software upgrade.

Our new suite of MG1 ECU software comes after months of extensive research and development that is typically absent from the aftermarket. Our upgrade makes the engine more powerful and more exciting. We’ve extensively calibrated the system to work flawlessly on the track, while retaining safety routines to protect your engine in the most demanding scenarios. This was all made possible by our engineering team's pursuit of perfection. Development vehicles were outfitted with additional sensors, including turbo shaft speed sensors, thermocouples, transducers, and more, along with our high speed direct RAM logging equipment, to feed valuable data to the team for analysis. After thousands of hours of testing and tuning we created new calibrations that are fine tuned for several octanes and contain hundreds of map changes, with a vast array of safety features built in.

Pretty solid gains. Any issues with the DSG holding the new power?

We haven't seen any issues. Even on E85 (unreleased because of not passing emissions), it was holding just fine and showing no signs of being near the max.

Hypothetically...what does it actually take to run E85 on these cars? I'd assume bigger injectors and a HPFP?

Interesting. I'm from the Evo world so injectors, FP and fuel lines were required upgrades in order to run the E85.

Thanks, Arin! Looking forward to getting my car flashed ASAP.

Very excited to see the reviews. So with a bolt on intake and 93 what was the max gain range?

Yes, we have one in development now. It will be similar to our S6/S7 system.

I don't have intake numbers ready to publish quite yet, but it's a decent gain on top of the tune with our upcoming system.

That's an industry myth. "Off-Road Only" doesn't exist.

But that said, on this platform, no new tune is needed anyways.

Could you explain that a bit more? For a full bolt on car, I'd normally expect a stg2, similar to what the b9 platform has(or really any car I've owned when I've put a sports cat in). The c8 platform wouldn't need that, how come?

    Thanks

One more question on the intake. Will the car learn that it has a better flow and adjust accordingly as they always have or do you need to tweak the time for it?

The factory exhaust on most every one of these newer vehicles is so unrestrictive (the catalyst is enormous), it makes little difference adjusting the ECU further. Simply bolting on parts, for the most part, nets the gains.

I've got a killer intake in development right now if you're willing to wait. It's a full system all the way into the turbo, which is the biggest restriction part.

I have the intake on my S6, goes all the way to the Turbos. It's excellent and does add some power to the car. Looks the business too.

Now...When is that tune comin for the 2.9 to compliment my pretty intake?

I was told that the tune is new, and not all ecu box codes were compatible. So when they see a new box code APR makes a build for it. Not something I've heard before. The dealer said likely about a week, and they'd give me a call.
