VA Members: has anyone passed emissions with a catted downpie

Since the EPA passed the anti-tamer guidance last year, I’ve been told by NGP that cars with an aftermarket down pipe will automatically fail VA emissions, even if the down pipe has a cat and there are no software problems.

Has anyone here passed emissions in Virginia with a downpipe? If not, was it a software flag, or was it manual inspection?

Sorry for not answering directly, but consider driving by automatic testing

Reopening this for a slightly different question. Any issues with catted downpipe for just a vehicle inspection? I don't have emissions in my area.
