    OBDeleven Long Coding?

Is there a thread already on here about coding with OBDeleven? I tried searching but netted next to nothing for results that seemed appropriate.

Backstory: I received my new OBDeleven Pro for IOS in the mail yesterday and scanned the car with it. Some minor faults were found and cleared, but I got looking around and found the long coding options. I started thinking to myself: now how the hell do I use that? A quick Google found me registered on the OBDeleven forums but that place seems to never get any replies to any of the posts.

There are a few minor things I would like to do with the A7 but have no clue where to start with long coding. Are there any good resources or lists where I can find these codes?

before you do anything.....MAKE A SAVE PROFILE YOU CAN BACK UP TO!
that way you have a reference point to go back if you edit something you should have.

Can I do that with the OBDeleven tool? Or do I need to save that to my phone or something? I’ll have to look into how to do that while I do my research.

So you don’t have to backup anything? It does have a way that you can do a full backup though. I’ve watched a few videos and moved around a bit in the app and found it. And I saw in the history file. It also records all of your faults there.

I never said dont do a full backup. I always tell people to do a full backup prior to touching anything. This applies to VCDS or OBD11. I was simply pointing out that if you change some long coding, OBD11 will save that change automatically by recording the long coding for that module before and after your change. Key point here: it records the long coding ONLY for the module you edit.
