DRC replacement with bilstein - what other parts do I need?

Hi, going to replace my DRC with bilstein B8's, planning on keeping the existing springs. I gather I should replace the front control arms for sure, as well as the strut mount, bellows. Looking for advice on what other parts people would suggest I order at the same time.

    Thanks in advance.

Hmm, I wasnt aware B8's fit the RS4's. In my review before purchase I only seen the PSSB14 and B16's from Bilstien as the only two options available. I did not see th D8 as another option so you may want to recheck with Bilstien before starting into it.

As for what else I did while doing the conversion (btw I chose the B14's and had my mechanic install them) I also had them install the 034 Motorsport Density Line Control Arm Kit as my OEM bushing were cracking and creaking. I also purchased this kit to help make the conversion easier for my mechanic:

I also had them install a Spulen rear diff mount and the rear diff carrier mount bushing insert kit from ECS.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi thanks for the feedback. That kit surely would help.

the B8's are on the ecs site (under B7 RS4) also:

I've read others have installed them as well, used the factory springs, and retained close to OEM feel. I don't want to make the ride any stiffer/rougher ideally...

If the coilover kit does not include the caps for the DRC lines, you will need to purchase a set. You don’t want to leave them open in case you want to restore use of DRC.
